Its Warde Manuel's wet dream come true. He wanted to fire Harbaugh after '20, but the look wouldn't have been good to fire him for mostly Covid related reasons. Totally out of Jim's control. Now, the NCAA is going to gift wrap plenty of 'reasons' to let Jim go, and he couldn't be happier. Santa Ono won't be able to save Harbaugh from Manuel and the NCAA. Manuel has probably already spoken with contacts inside the NCAA to let them know that Harbaugh is going to be gone, and he'd appreciate a little consideration in return. One of those "we didn't have this conversation" conversations.

Recruiting has been unbelievable. The 247 ranking had us #17 for 2023 and if you go by per player ranking we were #22 which was behind MSU. Now MSU's 2024 class is a joke but we're still only #15. No 5 stars in either class either.
