The NCAA is a joke of an institution when it comes to Division I sports...especially football. I think in the near future they will be either completely out of FBS Football...or basically irrelevant...their purpose now is solely administrative policing...FBS could easily come up with a regulatory board and take over the role of the NCAA...and do a much better job.

And when you consider what the "lie" was all about, it was about Harbaugh having contact with a recruit during the Covid "no contact" period, and he bought the kid a hamburger.
And, when the NCAA inquired about it, Harbaugh lied.
THIS is worth a 4 game suspension, .. and the so-called infraction could actually carry a 6 game suspension.
It wasn't about giving the kid or a family member a boatload of money. It was about having contact during a dead period, and buying a hamburger.
Four games, and Howard Finebaum will be outraged because it isn't six games.
This is NCAA football.

Harbaugh speaks last Thursday at the B10 Media, what a circus that the Media will try to make that out to be. Im know Harbaugh will repeatedly say he can't talk about it or something that effect. But he could drop one of his only Harbaugh one-liners. Anyway I'm not letting this NCAA joke bother me in the least, maybe it will put a bigger chip on this team's shoulder.

I think there'll be some players that will use it as motivation, but the sheer idiocy of the NCAA in all this has reached new levels. The media days in Indianapolis will be quite the circus. Between the stuff at Northwestern and the "hamburger-gate scandal" at Michigan, the reporters will have a field day.
This, is your NCAA, folks."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"
