Well, it is. At this point though CFB is a damaged product but, it's the opening of the season of a historically immensely popular sport. The asinine decisions of B10 Commissioner, Kevin Warner, are a lot like the idiocy of former Toys Are Us executive who took over as M's AD as M football crumbled into a heap of steaming shit, Dave Brandon. He thought he could breath life into the ailing program with towel cannons. I wonder how much money Warren pocketed for the Peacock deal and what it foretells about future B10 revenue streams. Back in the day, the big choices for TV were Sylvania, Magnavox, Phillips, Zenith, RCA, GE, Curtis Mathes (for the rich) and Emerson (for the poors). We're favored by 36.5 points (!) against ECU. They went 8-5 so their program isn't a Hawaii or a Colorado State. I don't expect us to lose tha game but that seems like a hell of a lot of points to cover against a team that probably isn't worse than Nebraska or Rutgers.Comment
