Probably not. Looks like a U employee reported that Weiss had gained unauthorized access to an email account. It's a borderline felony not involving federal laws.
https://michigan.rivals.com/news/pub...t-u-m-facilityMission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

More on the alleged NCAA infractions and the Level I charged levied at Harbaugh. It's been said this year but bears repeating: THIS is the Harbaugh we hired and expected!
The battle lines are drawn. Harbaugh is not expected to back down and would likely mount a ferocious defense against any allegation he purposely lied.
Sources: Resolution talks in NCAA's case vs. Michigan hit impasse over Jim Harbaugh's refusal to say he lied
According to sources, Harbaugh has acknowledged his program committed four Level II violations, as the NCAA initially alleged. He has further apologized to the university that they occurred. However, he has refused to sign any document or publicly state that he was ever untruthful with the enforcement staff.
The 59-year-old has maintained he didn’t recall the events when first speaking with investigators but that he was never purposefully dishonest.
Harbaugh is not expected to back down and would likely mount a ferocious defense against any allegation he purposely lied. Harbaugh is famous for being stubborn, both as a player and as a head coach in the NCAA and NFL.
Additionally, it is generally challenging to prove someone knowingly lied without detailed contemporaneous evidence, which sources say the NCAA either lacks or simply doesn't exist.
Dear NCAA: Fuck off and die.

So what if M...or any other NCAA program under "investigation" just ignores the findings and punishments of the NCAA...what then? They really don't have any teeth anymore...say they cut schollies by x over x years...what if M just ignores it? What if they suspend the player and HARBAUGH!!!!!!! but they don't honor either suspension? What can the NCAA do? Force a forfeit? Vacate wins? Who gives a fuck?Shut the fuck up Donny!

Failure to adhere to and administer NCAA penalties can result in the death penalty. You can ignore that as long as the teams and conferences on your schedule are willing to ignore the NCAA as well.
This came up under Stallings at Alabama. The NCAA absolutely bludgeoned Alabama after Langham signed a cocktail napkin in New Orleans after the NC game vs Miami. The agent he signed the cocktail napkin for wanted to represent him in the NFL after his senior year and gave him $300. The napkin was the agreement.
Langham reneged and signed with a big agency. The agent turned the napkin over to the NCAA and Stallings was less than gracious with investigators (kicked them out of his office because they didn’t have an appointment). The sanctions handed down were absolutely ridiculous. We kind of debated about ignoring them (weighed our options, anyway). In our appeal, the NCAA basically said they would Death Penalty us and if that happened, any team that played us would face Level I punishments.
So, if M has support in ignoring the ridiculousness, yeah, ignore them. If the conference and rival teams cave, it won’t work.
The NCAA has needed to be razed and rebuilt for 50 years. With NIL, this might be the opening we need. Right now they feel powerless and I think most expected them to lash out at some minor violation so they can exert their authority and shout that they are still powerful and to be feared."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
