Wow.....leadership. Lots of parallels to leading soldiers into battle. I know other programs have leaders but M has soul deeply embedded in its football culture. It's being resurrected. Most of you have probably heard this if not ...... Eric Al is entering the transfer portal. There was a comment posted on this forum that Iowa was looking to become M's B Squad. Probably better to post it if you knew Al was transferring. Would have saved me from making this post.

Schoonmaker has accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl (a tryout for the NFL). There's no shortage of TEs on M's roster. If I remember correctly, Erick All’s big TD vs Penn State in 2021 was so significant. That win helped propel M to the playoff.
He didn’t quite live up to the hype, but wish All the best. It would be interesting if All transfers to Iowa… making that Iowa team a must watch when M isn’t playing next season. I will admit about rooting for Iowa unless they play M/ Purdue.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeillComment

Couple of interesting mgobard comments on the Al transfer ........ rumor has it he's going to Iowa with Cade. That his tweet sort of threw a hand grenade in the room as he closed the door behind him suggests he may have been asked to take a "medical." (not sure what that implies but here's the post.......
M has also been conservative with back/spinal injuries (See: Ondre Pipkins) and may have said he'd need to take a medical vs. getting a second opinion.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. So we don't have a lot BS rumors on the portal popping up, 247 has a page that allows you to see portal updates. 247 isn't perfect but more reliable than mgoboard or twitter quotes. The link takes you to the Wolverines main page. You can filter from there.

Maybe .....probably. I don't trust mgoboard posts but it sounds like it. His twitter, good-by post wasn't exactly sunshine and rainbows about his experience with the M.football program and that is about as far as it goes from what I've read at mgoboard.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished.
