I agree the schedule is crap. I'd like to see all of the P5 schools play at least 10 conference games every season. Or, at least play 9 conference games, and 1 P5 crossover each season.

There's no excuse to load up on tomato cans other than to boost statistics and let future 'stars' shine.

Plenty of ADs don't do it. Or, at least, plenty of ADs wouldn't cancel UCLA to replace with UConn. That's what makes M's actions so fucking shameful. Most legitimate programs are scheduling at least one P5 H+H series.

M was regularly on the other side; one of those playing H&H while other programs were scheduling non P5 opponents. Its a recent thing for M to not play P5 programs OOC, we'll see if they cancel other scheduled OOC games. M has both Texas & Oklahoma scheduled as a H&H scheduled from '24 - '27

JMO but, there are many causes that might have precipitated Hart's collapse. The tweet suggests it's not something bad like a brain tumor. There are cardiac causes, metabolic causes and so forth. Pretty confident he was thoroughly worked up with tumor and cardiac causes ruled out. That leaves isolated seizure, details TBD, Metabolic cause, e.g. low blood sugar among these.

I'm still a bit concerned about him. His statement said he wants to rejoin the team as soon as possible. Reading into that, it sounds like he's still dealing with whatever it was that caused the problem. But it does sound like they've ruled out the more serious issues.

You know when I found out it was Mike Hart - the first thing that came to mind was - he has talked (joked) a lot about how much fast food he has eaten. Such a young man to go down like that? I remember he said he went to Wendy's every day during his playing days. Just before the IU game, he said Blake reminds him of himself - only Blake eats better. I thought he might of had a heart attack. I still have concerns also, with the statement he's only 36 years old. Anyway, I was thinking of Fred Jackson, before I heard he will fill in indefinitely - till Hart gets back.

Both of those men have a lot of potential as coaches. Hart is going to be a HC at a major university. I think its his goal ot succeed Harbaugh, but he's not likely going to have the credentials that soon.
