  • Yeah, sorry about the Bo and Tom Brady confusion ..... Carr was a disciple of Bo - a pass has two outcomes and they are both bad (or words to that effect.) He was also in the Brady Henson shit show that Carr was responsible for. It certainly turned out ok for Tom Brady. The link below talks about who mentored him as a first year Michigan player trying to become the starter, that the guy that recruited him, Garly Moeller, got fired right before he arrived in AA and was replaced by LC and his first conversation with Lloyd where he considered transfering to Cal and Lloyd convinced him to stay. Things I didn't know about Tom Brady at M was the close relationship with other M coaches that made him into the QB he was at M and has become in the NFL.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

      • According to an article in M Live, Michigan will play PSU in a day game, and MSU is going to be the one conference home night game. I think those two should be reversed, but that's just me.

I hope the AAPD has the paddy wagons all set to go. They'll need them with that MSU bunch.

        • AA doesn't appear to be around at the moment but he would want me to speak up on his behalf to say that use of the term "paddy wagon" is hurtful and demeaning.

          • I think you're fibbing.

AA would never want you to speak for him.

            • AA speaks a language that is difficult to understand...kind of a Celtic meets Paducah dialect...

                  • There's speculation around the internet that TE Eric All is done for the season. The concensus view seems to be he has a nagging injury he may have gotten in fall camp that needs corrective surgery.

He was faced with playing with it and the attendant decrease in his performance and his NFL draft stock or getting the surgery now, rehabbing it and going forward from there. This way he can either enter the NFL draft or play another season at M, improving his draft prospects somewhat, like what Bell is doing now

                    • If I were All, I would enter the draft. I was surprised that he didn't do it after last year. He has nothing more to prove. And with Michigan's ridiculous levels of depth at both TE and WR, I don't think that his draft prospects have much upside.

                      • That sucks but I agree with Hannibal. No way he comes back next year and nor should he.

                          • M's schrewd moving in canceling UCLA series (and game for this season) and replacing with UConn is paying huge dividends. Well done to HARBAUGH!!!! for ducking that one. Opening the season in the Rose Bowl in a quasi home game, heh, would have be a litle more challenging than playing UConn at home.

                            • I don't know all the politics or money handling that went into M basically buying another home game, but its probably a good thing M got out of it. It would not have been fun watching former M player Zach Charbonnet run wild over M's defense, although I am a huge Charbonnet fan. We saw what a crappy team did to M for a half yesterday. I shudder to think what a talented team would have done to them in Game 1. CRD is licking his chops.

                              • It would have been a tough game. I mean, it would have been tougher than any game they play until late November.

UConn is not a tough team to play.

I think M is certainly elite, but their scheduling is fucking shameful. I won't change my mind on that even if it doesn't change the fact that they're legit national title contenders.
