I'm hearing Colin Krapernick has been invited by Harbaugh to be the 'honorary captain' at the Spring Game on Saturday. I can't find a link to the story, but it sounds like something Harbaugh would do.
Its supposed to be rainy and in the upper 40's for Saturday's game, so I won't be attending anyway. I had half a thought to go, but that seals any possibility that I might. I might watch on TV if the game actually happens.
EDIT: Here is a link to the story on ESPN. https://www.espn.com/college-footbal...es-spring-game

I've been watching the Spring Game a bit. Nothing really notable going on. The walk-on QB from California named Warren has shown some throwing skill, but McNamara and McCarthy have nothing to worry about.
Not sure what's going on with McCarthy. I thought he had to have surgery, but BTN is saying he's rehabbing his arm.
"Blue" is playing "Maize", and the winning team gets steak dinner from the Chop House. The losers get hot dogs. Nice touch, although if the hot dogs are Kogel or Kowalski, that's not too bad of a consolation.
McNamara played QB for both sides, 2 possessions each. Didn't look great, but he doesn't have to. He's already proven to be a fine QB.
The defenses look fairly tight. Not a lot of big plays going on, and the tackling seems to be good.
Again, its a spring practice, and you can't draw much from it. Its a publicity thing.
BTN is covering Krapernick's "throwing exhibition". If he wants to play in the NFL again, why didn't he sign with the USFL? National TV exposure."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

The spring 'game' just ended. Nothing to see, really. Most of the projected starters were held out in the 2nd half, so it was all subs and walk-ons. It was mildly entertaining, but not intended to be completely serious.
"Blue" defeated "Maize" 20-12, so Blue gets to eat steak at the Chop House. Hot Dogs for everyone else."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

I don't buy anything else. They cost more than dogs like Ballparks, but nobody can beat Koegel. Absolutely the best."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"
