    Sherrone Moore and Matt Weiss will split play-calling duties. Moore, along with OL duties, will game plan in the run game.

        JJ McCarthy snagged a nice NIL deal from a car dealership down the road from me. We occasionally receive the little free community newspaper and his picture was on the header as part of an ad. Here's the write-up from the same paper.

                Johnny Wangler to Anthony Carter

                Carter is still the best Michigan WR I've seen in my lifetime. Everybody else lines up behind him. He did it for 4 years. No early NFL exit for him.

                      Man, Jeff Fisher. Dude was a player, assistant, and head coach in the NFL for like 35 straight years. Doesn't he have better things to do with his time? Or just wants a little extra boat money?

                          The old Michigan Panthers sold out the 'Dome regularly, and they won two USFL Championships. Made the Lions both jealous and angry.

                            The Michigan Panthers won one USFL title and never sold out the dome. They had some games that were pretty well attended but the games were heavily papered.

                              There are 8 teams in the inaugural season and all games will be played in Birmingham, Alabama. Sounds fail-proof.

                                The Panthers averaged just over 22,000 per game in the 80,000 seat Silverdome in 1983. That grew to 32,000+ in 1984. There was no 1985 for the Michigan Panthers.
