The old Michigan Panthers sold out the 'Dome regularly, and they won two USFL Championships. Made the Lions both jealous and angry.

The Michigan Panthers won one USFL title and never sold out the dome. They had some games that were pretty well attended but the games were heavily papered.

There are 8 teams in the inaugural season and all games will be played in Birmingham, Alabama. Sounds fail-proof.

The Panthers averaged just over 22,000 per game in the 80,000 seat Silverdome in 1983. That grew to 32,000+ in 1984. There was no 1985 for the Michigan Panthers.
