Probably at some point. I'm guessing the NCAA will have to come down with their final decision first. The most interesting thing to me from the Yahoo article is this:
According to the document, the tipster derived from Michigan’s own campus. The unnamed source, which the NCAA has not disclosed, appears to have worked at the school, at least at one point. Michigan believes the confidential leaker was used by the NCAA to produce at least some of the charges in the notice of allegations, something in which it expresses “concern.”
While the school respects the secrecy of confidential sources, it says in the document, the NCAA can present evidence and infractions based only on “information that can be attributed to individuals who are willing to be identified.”

M can't settle because the NCAA's proposed settlement is something they can't abide. They also have a really hard time disputing what's in the NOA. So, what you have is a leak from M that is the absolute best-case they have.
Anyway, I feel pretty certain about that above. How it turns out? I dunno -- I offered my prediction over a year ago and haven't commented on the merits since. And will continue that course.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Vacated wins. Schlolarship reductions. Post-season ban. The 2023 season is something M can't abide. They might have been inclined to take a one-year post-season ban, vacate 2021-22 and move on. I dunno. But 2023 is an absolute no go -- and, again -- not commenting on merits of any of this stuff -- but I do strongly believe that's what is out there.
I'm not sure M fans realize what's on the table. Now, given the feckless history of the NCAA and their rapidly waning involvement in collegiate sports, M may be able to run out the clock on this.
I'm definitely intrigued.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
