A lot of football to be played - and season's not even started yet. So, this is full of speculation; some would call it BS. It is nice to talk about football, though. The Article places the top 12 teams in the play-offs and predicts winners that will move on to meet in the National Championship game and the results of that. UGA to win it all after beating Ryan Day and his OSU squad in the NC.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

What all of these projections fail to take into account is something that ALL of us here have seen over the last 3 years. This is that Ryan Day's osu can be punked. They can beat up on lower level teams and can show up against good teams, but they have vulnerabilities that can only a handful of teams have enough talent to exploit. Day is not Meyer, or Tressel. He's John Cooper 2.0.

I think that you were looking at the 2023 projections, Jeff.
I don't think this a 2023 Bracket. It's a 2024/25 Bracket which admittedly isn't clear. But the publishing date from Athlon is 6/19/24 so, It's not about the 2023/24 CFB season.
I do agree with your take on OSU and Day not being Jim Tressel or Urban Meyer but rather, John Cooper 2.0. I'd really like to believe that though the jury is still out. JH turned Michigan around after he took a salary cut and a good deal of humbling. He did it by building a coaching staff with consistent direction on offense, defense and special teams - that, even though there were staff changes. That's because Harbaugh smartly hired guys who consistently had the same coaching and execution philosophies of the successful guys, picked off because they were good at their jobs at M, that they replaced.
I'm not completely plugged in to OSU's off-season coaching changes. Leave that to Talent. That's where the "jury's" decision on how good of a coach is Ryan Day isn't out yet. I think consistency in play design and execution among coaches, as well as how team chemistry is built and leadership among football players developed is key. Remains to be seen if Day has built a team that leverages that important aspect of winning football teams.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished.
