I still have a hard time believing that it went very high up the chain due to the amateurism involved. I'm not even sold that Partridge knew but once the story broke, it sounds like he tried to cover some tracks after the fact and that's what got him in trouble. If any coaches knew the full scope of what Stallions was doing and didn't make sure that he was at least being discreet about it doesn't deserve their job. Ideally, they would have blown the whistle on the whole thing and sent Stalions packing but at the very least make sure he isn't leaving a goddamn paper trail that could come back to the program.
