Big Ten Coaches (according to Pete Thamel, so take it with a grain of salt) supposedly spent 'nearly an hour' crying to Big Ten Commissioner Tony Pettiti about Michigan's alleged cheating, and some demanding that Michigan be punished "now" instead of waiting until the investigations are complete. Harbaugh was not part of that conversation, having hung up before the real bellyaching began.

You have to read the article nearly to the end to get to any truth of the story.

Pete Thamel = making an entire career out of quoting 'unnamed sources". I could do that, probably better than he does.

If there's any truth to Thamel's article, I'd imagine that the 'screaming little girl" on that phone conversation was not CRD or Harlon Barnett. My guess is that it was James Franklin, who has bellyached about Michigan from the time he set foot in his office in HV.

If I have him figured right, I'd say that CRD didn't have a whole lot to say. I'm sure he'd love to see M and Harbaugh drawn and quartered, but he doesn't seem like someone who would squeal like a little girl like Franklin.

This does lead me to be concerned about Michigan fans that may attend the road games at HV and Maryland. Anyone wearing Michigan garb is going to be like having a giant sign on them saying "kick me". Especially in HV. If Doug and Terri are going, I hope they take safety precautions. People in this country have absolutely lost their freaking minds over this thing.

Supposedly the Big Ten AD's "discussed a suspension" in the conference call that took place Thursday evening. It's viewed as the "cleanest" way to address this matter.

Oh, man. PLEASE "immediately" suspend Harbaugh over this.

I'd give anything to see the lawyers literally RUNNING to the courthouses around the state, and the region, filing lawsuits against the conference. First suit would be for a stay of any implementation of a "suspension" which would tie it up for at least a couple weeks. That would be followed by more lawsuits by lawyers representing Harbaugh, and likely even U-M.

I repeat ... people have lost their freaking minds over this thing. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill

Does Harbaugh (and even Stalions) deseve the opportunity to defend themselves?
