First "burger gate", Now this. I know that Harbaugh is a pro-life catholic. Not too popular a position in the world of liberal academia. Just wondering if he may be also be a Trump supporter and/or an election denier.

I say he should double his efforts in cheating, because he's obviously not cheating enough to win it all.

Sounds like what M wants us all to believe is it was a lone wolf trying to make something out of himself that spun out of control then some people on the staff got wind of the info and took advantage of it not knowing this was sloppy as fuck...they used the info and probably figured it was not a serious thang...as again....EVERYONE IS DOING IT!!!! Kinda like being at a bar and overhearing insider trading info...yer not gonna ignore it (as we knows...when EF Hutton talks...people listen)...so when Connor Stalion talks...M listened...if it went awry...just blame ignorance and the "lone wolf" theory...well...this was much more than "lone wolf"...the fucker has a 555 page MANIFESTO!!!!!!

Do I believe that other teams/schools do similar things? Of course I do, and I think you do too. You've been around these people. They're always looking for a competitive edge, and when one falls in their lap, they'll jump all over it. For some, it means keeping their jobs. That's why I made my comment earlier about opening a pandora's box here. Harbaugh/Michigan is just the first one out of the box. Somewhere, someone is now looking for other teams/schools to go after. Are they all lily-white and innocent with nothing to see here? I guess we'll find out soon.
Its a well-established fact that the NCAA, and people within the NCAA that absolutely hate Harbaugh. Proven fact. And anytime something comes up involving him, they'll jump all over it, and "investigate" the snot out of it. There are people within the NCAA that have wanted Harbaugh OUT of college football, ever since he tweeked their noses with his travelling camps thing. Harbaugh is well documented for his belief that players should be paid. The NCAA absolutely HATES that idea, even with the advent of NIL. They want Harbaugh OUT of college football, and back into the NFL, or out of coaching completely. So do many in the 'media". He is not a good interview. He doesn't even LIKE talking to reporters. He doesn't give them juicy quotes. He passes off post game interviews with the microphone bimbos, and makes them talk to his players. They don't like that at all. And finally, Harbaugh is on record with some right-wing beliefs. In 2023, that is an anathema to the liberal dominated media. That cannot be allowed.
So, at the end of all this, I think its likely that Harbaugh will be forced out at Michigan, either by public opinion, or by Warde Manuel firing him, or by a combination of both. The "evidence" against him may be too thick for Santa Ono to protect him from Manuel, who has wanted to fire Harbaugh since 2020. So, its likely that those who want him gone, will get their wish. Where will he end up in the NFL? Who knows? Someone will want him there. As for Michigan being 'punished' as so many are screaming for, I think it will happen both by NCAA imposed penalties, and even moreso by graduation, the portal and other departures. The coaching staff will be gutted as well. 2024 Michigan will be only a shadow of its 2023 self, which is what the NCAA wants. As do Michigan haters.
The Fab Five thing happened before most of these kids were born. Michigan paid dearly for all that, and its over.
Talent -- feel free to add all this to your "Quotes I intend to beat up Liney with" rolodex file. I'll still be here to admit I'm wrong, if I am proven wrong.Last edited by lineygoblue; October 27, 2023, 05:33 PM.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle

Do I believe that Harbaugh knew that Stalions was stealing signs? Sure I do. He likely approved the research part of the plot. I do NOT believe that Harbaugh told him it was fine with him if he went to opponents stadiums and shot video, and so forth. I do not believe that Harbaugh told Stalions to violate the NCAA rules on scouting. And I don't think the NCAA will ever be able to prove that he did. There won't be a 'smoking gun'.

Something stinks to high heaven.
If Clark Lea or Blake Anderson were accused of the same things, it wouldn't even be looked at by the NCAA.

Unless I'm mistaken stealing the signs weeks prior is of no benefit. I have to believe that the coaching staff for most teams change the signs from game to game.
