I'm already planning travel during the 2023 CFB season. That's unprecedented for me after 50 years of reserving weekends for M football games and, if applicable, trips to bowl games.
Basically, I'm done with M football and all of CFB. It's changing face has rendered it not worth my time, in some cases unwatchable given contractual commercial breaks. This fall will likely be my last trip to Ann Arbor to watch the opening games. A M football tradition I carried on with my son. In this year's case only BG and Rutgers. I may or may not tune into the ECU game on Peacock. I already have a free subscription my wife signed up for that will get me through any games that are migrating to pay-TV. The pay per view trend was the final straw after the wreckage NIL created to the entirety of CFB and in particular to M that failed to deal with it effectively (commensurate with teams M competes with).Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Speaking of new hobbies, I have rediscovered my love for Formula I racing. Great sport -- not perfect but I get the sense that the people in charge have a genuine interest in serving the fans and enhancing the sport in intelligent ways, as opposed to just about all other sports right now. I'm downright exhausted from all of the times that I have been annoyed by a change in my favorite sports that makes them worse.
With paying players, unrestricted free agency, and conferences getting blown up, college football is evolving -- or maybe de-evolving -- into a AAA minor league. I have no desire to watch that.

Change the conference name to "OSU And Everybody Else".
The 2024 Wolverines will be fortunate to crack the Top 25. CRD might just get his hundo.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle

There's no sandbagging regarding the future 2024 Michigan football program.
2024 and beyond will look a lot like 2020. The lack of good recruiting will come home to roost.
Road games in LA and Columbus will be embarrassing.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
