In this forum, us Michigan fans take a lot of scorn for the term "Michigan Man", especially when one of our own goes bad.

Today, this Michigan Man is spending his NIL money, to bring Thanksgiving dinners to the disadvantaged people of Washtenaw County. He could be back in his apartment, sitting with a cold beverage, watching the NFL games, or just hanging out with friends. Instead, he's helping people in a community that he does not even come from. He's from Massachussets. And this is not the first year he's done this. He did so last year as well.
So, go ahead and point out when some of our guys lose their way, make bad choices, or just fail to live up to the term. I choose to think of young men like this. And, if for some odd reason, he were to end up in some NFL community in Ohio, ... I believe he'll be doing the same thing there. And be a valuable member of their community. Just like he is ours.

Can't remember if this has been posted anywhere. Urban Meyer provides a great perspective of the job Sherrone Moore has done. If Harbaugh leaves, as I expect, the job should be his.

I found this very cool. Michigan leads the field of CFP teams to win the NC. What's cool about it is that every one of these 4 CFP teams are blue bloods with long histories of football excellence. It is really nice to see M return to competitiveness after a long time in the wilderness. In 2020 the general consensus was that Harbaugh couldn't deliver what M expected when he was hired as savior and lots of people wanted him out. He flirted with the NFL and the story goes nobody at that level wanted him. He's quirky, cranky and has a record of being difficult to work with. His players love him so that's not the problem. He just doesn't like administrators. He's a soldier warrior in the true sense of the word and has no time for management BS.
2021 was thought by many to be a fluke and M would return to its record of underperformance after a brief flirtation with it's return to greatness. Well, 2022 made people start to think about M as a perennial contender as in olden times. Now 2023 has come, Michigan is the #1 team at the end of the season (and I believe it is the first time M has occupied that particular position, certainly in the past being in the top 5-10 at season's end)). Harbaugh has his detractors and we know who they are. But by a long shot, he is a great coach, motivator and leader of men. His perseverance through this very tough month for him personally is remarkable. Mark it down when the final verdict is in, the controversy over, he'll emerge as a winner.
This article and the pictures of the four contenders just makes my day and brings me back to those years were M was competitive every year from the start of the season each fall to the end of it and on through the bowl season. The good times have returned.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

This article is very damning of M's passing game and it's failure to use Edwards like he should be used. It's one of Seth's Neck Sharpies at mgo. I found it revealing of M's offensive brain trust's pass play schemes overall, not just those where Edwards may have been the #1 read .... or not.. Seth notes several times that the disconnect between what is and what isn't the play-design for Edwards is so obvious it leads rank amateurs like me to believe that they're actually are a lot of plays that M is holding in abeyance until their run to the NC in the CFP.
IDK, man. I've never believed that coaches hold stuff out of games for future plays. But the sophisticated sign stealing that's been going on for a good while would mitigate for not putting plays on video. But there's a good chance how Harbaugh, Hart and Moore want to use Edwards v. CFP opponents HAS remained hidden.
It's almost obvious because, as Seth explains, the plays and routes he's been running are astoundingly poor use of his skill set. Video examples with narrative are in the article. You can see it for yourself. He does mention that it appears that on passing plays, Edwards is out there doing something but he's not on JJ's route tree. WTF and watching on TV, I've said, Edwards is open for God's sake. Throw it to him.

Hopefully HARBAUGH signs an extension, but I’m sick of these “Harbaugh and Michigan working on a contract extension” stories. This has to be like the 10th time that someone in the MGoCommunity has reported it…
It’s like George RR Martin promising the next Game of Thrones book every few months for the last decade. I want to see it to believe it.
Take it with a grain of salt IMO.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Today, Blake Corum and several of his Michigan teammates held a Christmas Toy Drive at Somerset Mall in Troy. It is estimated that the group collected 20,000 to 25,000 toys.
This is one of the good things about NIL.
The Michigan running back and his teammates helped raise tens of thousands of toys for the holiday season

I can't link it because its paywalled, but Angelique Chengellis is reporting that Michigan has received the NCAA Notice of Infractions today regarding the Hamburger-gate allegations.
The way it sounds, this has the potential to be dragged out into next season, with all the hearings, responses, and appeals that are available.
My guess is that at some point, adults will sit down and come to a negotiated settlement.
Haters will be disappointed."in order to lead America you must love America"
