After reading some of the stuff that people are saying about this thing, I'm convinced of at least two things.
a. Michigan is one of the most hated football programs in the country.
b. Some people have lost their freaking minds over this.
----
On one Michigan site, an OSU fan came in and said that this year's game should be cancelled, because of Michigan's rampant cheating. I doubt that this is a widely held view amongst ohioans but its actually been put out there.
I'd think that this would actually add to their motivation to win, but that's just me."in order to lead America you must love America"

You only "doubt" it's not widely held. LOL.
Some idiot posted an OP on that on Bucknuts. It currently has 3 likes and 89 dislikes. It's the most downvoted thread I've ever seen. And THAT website is full of absolute crazies that routinely call for CRD to be fired, Kyle McCord to be benched, complain about MH Jr dropping passes, the defense not getting a pass rush and every other goddamn thing under the sun.
And even they absolutely shit on that that idea.Last edited by iam416; October 29, 2023, 08:34 AM.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Well, Ohio is still Ohio... and so there is that.
Well known Michigan hater Pete Thamel of ESPN says that "NFL sources" (love that) tell him that if Harbaugh is forced out at Michigan due to NCAA punishments, that the NFL won't be a "safe haven" for him to avoid NCAA sanctions. He says NFL teams will be required to impose whatever punishment the NCAA has issued, and he refers to the Jim Tressel/Colts thing.
Well, my sources tell me that Pete Thamel has lost his freaking mind. I'll bet my sources are at least as good as his."in order to lead America you must love America"

He could take time off, but he won't. Harbaugh will be coaching somewhere next year at this time. And I won't be shocked if he's still at Michigan.
A lot is going to depend on how 'severe' the upcoming NCAA sanctions are, and how much Santa Ono is willing to protect Harbaugh from Warde Manuel."in order to lead America you must love America"
