Yeah, can you see Jim watching the game (somewhere) It's 4th and 3 from the ECU 35 - Go for it? Or let the new kicker get his first FG for Michigan and some confedence?
The more this gets dragged out, the more the NCAA looks stupid. If that's even possible.
Harbaugh's decision to add his 86 year old Dad as an "Associate Head Coach" during his suspension is drawing mostly humorous but favorable reactions from a lot of CFB analysts. Its being considered a thumb your nose reaction to the NCAA. There will be Harbaugh's on the sideline during his suspension, whether the NCAA likes it or not. He'd probably put John out there if he was available.
Bad thing about that is, MSU is doing the same thing. They don't sound to me like they're sorry at all about what happened, and want this year to be Round Two.
Should we care?
Washington, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State can fairly be seen as certain losses. Each is ranked in the Top 10 in preseason polls. Maryland, Iowa and Minnesota are, frankly, better than the Spartans. Right there are seven probable defeats. And It remains to be seen if Nebraska is improved under Matt Rhule, and the Spartans lost to Indiana last season. Too bad Northwestern isn’t on MSU’s schedule. Good thing Rutgers is. Well, maybe.
