Michigan could find a great replacement. It's quite clear Harbaugh wants to get back to the NFL, but it's unlikely he is going to get a position to his liking. It wouldn't be the worst thing for them if he got an NFL job. For a guy approaching 60 that isn't an awesome recruiter, it seems like you might start getting diminishing returns. The NFL is increasingly turning into a young coach league, so it's unlikely he's going to get an offer he likes.

Lying to the NCAA during an investigation is what got Jim Tressel fired. Between this and his repeated dalliances with NFL head coaching jobs, maybe it is time for him to go.

Anyway, with the ridiculous charges brought, the NCAA should laughed at.
I mean, come on, you had LSU football buying players with a slush fund from a hospital charity and the LSU basketball coach bragging that they paid better than the NBA (back when that was illegal). And they are going after Covid contact restrictions? Like, seriously, fuck those morons.

Jim Harbaugh’s Level One NCAA violation was for buying a recruit a hamburger at Brown Jug. This is not a joke. Michigan should get the death penalty now.
The NCAA cherry picks these little violations and likes to flex its muscle. While the big issues they turn a blind eye to. Like I've said I am hoping Harbaugh stays. But I can see how a coach would get sick of the nit-picking and hypocrisy and say F U.
How bad is it when Ohio State fans and even some MSU fans are sticking up for Michigan?

Harbaugh messed up again. He should have bought the burger at Blimpy Burger. Hasn't he learned anything?
I'd say the chances that Harbaugh leaves are up to 70% now, with all this crap from the NCAA. Manuel can fire him with cause if Harbs is "guilty" of Level 1 violations. It may be the door he's been looking for to throw him out. He doesn't have to pay a buyout either.
Broncos, .. Colts, .. Panthers .. there's your coach. Make the pitch."in order to lead America you must love America"
