Interesting clash in styles. Purdue finesse vs Michigan physicality. I don’t think Purdue has the athleticism at WR to consistently win. Sure they will draw up a few good schematic plays. Mixed in with classic Purdue trick plays. M too elite in the trenches.

This is pretty simple if the odds hold. There's probably some outlier scenarios involving #5 and #6 and others in the top 8 or so, e.g., any of the 4 projected CFP berth holders lose a game, . 2 of them losing would create chaos.
History demonstrates that in the CFP era, teams that make it this far don't suffer upsets at the hands of upstarts. CFP berths not yet in stone but it's pretty close. As I said yesterday after the wishful thinking of DSL appeared, a close game loser of The Game might have a shot at backdooring the CFP but osu got curbstomped.
IMO, of those two teams on the outside looking in as of today, Alabama with a close loss in the SECCG to UGA would have that on their resume while osu's regular season is done.

My mistake. I thought for sure LSU eliminated themselves yesterday in loosing to Jimbo's aTm. Checks notes ..... nope, with both LSU and Alabama at 6-2 in conference play, LSU wins the tiebreaker by virtue of their victory of UAT.
