Oh, I know. Anything less than 10-1 going into Columbus will be a failure.

10-1 going into Columbus=11-1. Well, shit, 12-1.
CRD is not a good coach. Born on third base. Ohio State is soft. It's going to be brutal.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

18 days until kick-off of the 2022 season. I remain marginally interested despite Froot's aversion that I won't stay that way.
If you follow sports at all and I do, you can't avoid the HARBAUGH!!! hyp-train. The offense will be good with maybe the best WR room in in M history, two solid QBs and a decent OL. Will Harbaugh air it out? Things point to he won't. He's still a run first coach. It's in his DN and he has some good RBs to do that.
With M's D lacking in experience and talent scoring north of 40 will have to happen on the regular to notch wins. I'm predicting at least 2 losses BEFORE osu.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

In case you haven't heard, ESPN has pulled out of the media rights negotiations for the Big. It was mentioned in an article I read on the subject that with Fox, CBS and NBC doing the Big games, instead of just subscribing to ESPN streaming services, you'll likely need subscriptions to Peacock and a bunch of others to stream Big games without national signficiance. Those will be boradcasr by Fox (first choice) CBS or NBC. Frankly, am I going to watch Rutgers and Maryland? Nope.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. Our non-conference schedule includes Colorado State, Hawaii, and UConn. Those teams all suck. If our first string has to play all 4 quarters in one of those games, then we should probably be nervous. Of course, there is always a chance that one of those could be surprisingly good (e.g. Colorado 2016). But I don't see any of those teams making a bowl. Given our returning talent on offense, I'd like to see at least one 63-7 type score - a really fun, stress free afternoon where walk-ons run out the clock.

The only question about the 2022 OoC schedule is whether it's worse or better than the 2023 OoC schedule. Some real shameful shit from M for those two years. Shameful.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

After the warm-ups, we play Maryland at home. That game might not be a lot of fun to watch since Maryland will be able to score on us, but I still expect another final result similar to last year.
After that comes what will be an absolutely brutal trip to Iowa City. We suck ass there. Hopefully, we'll escape with our hides intact.
We've also got Rutgers, Illinois, and Nebraska at home. None of those should be close unless Frost finally turns the corner at Nebraska. Indiana on the road but who cares. There's a lot of what should be "gimmies" this year.
