This thing is very fluid. U-M Regent Jordan Acker spent some time with the team today at Schembechler Hall and voiced support for the team.
Acker also said that U-M is about to sign Harbaugh to a "massive" contract extension. WITH Regent support.
Which now begs the question, would the U-M Regents be favoring this contract extension if they felt that there was any evidence that Harbaugh blatantly violated NCAA rules? These are well educated and well informed people. They don't express support like this unless there's good reason for it.

David Shuster;
The Big Ten commissioner met with Michigan President Santa Ono and asked him to suspend Jim Harbaugh for 2 games Ono said there was a lack of evidence and told the commissioner to "get lost".
ONO!

Man, I'd almost like to see the Conference, Petitty, or BOTH take action against Harbaugh now.
Lawsuits galore. A lawyer's dream.
Regents, 7-0 in favor of Harbaugh. When have they ever been 7-0 unanimous on anything? These people know more than the rest of us about this situation. Not a single one of them is wavering in their support of Harbaugh. Not one. This is very unusual. Normally, you'd think that at least one or two of them might get wishy-washy in their support, if they felt that they were backing a losing situation. But these people are completely together ... AND ... they're planning to sign Harbaugh to an extension.
Sounds like the M Administration is circling the wagons. And its likely because they have access to information that none of the rest of us have."in order to lead America you must love America"

But, kudos to Ono for telling the conference to pound sand and ante up.
