I really hate PI calls like the one that extended this drive. I guess it's not out of the norm but they need to keep the flags in their pocket when the contact is immaterial to the play and on the Hill PI it was.

Hill raked his forward arm, making it impossible to catch the ball even if he wanted to.
That was definitely PI there.
Agree about letting hand checking go - that wasn't hand checking on that call.

Just to be clear, this isn't a Michigan defense only thing. IMHO our first TD against Maryland was set up by something very similar -- contact on a piss poorly thrown ball that was not going to be caught.
