34-10, though I'm not sure how Iowa gets to 10.

Ferentz won't have the Kinnick advantage, because Michigan fans are going to buy every ticket that is alloted to them, plus any others that are not used. I'm not sure how Iowa fans are going to react to this. They usually travel pretty well.

That said, Ferentz is a good football coach. Not glitzy, or overpaid, but a solid coach who knows how to prepare his team for big games. I've seen Iowa win bowl games that they had no business winning. I expect 100% of whatever Iowa has to give.

But I don't think Michigan has peaked yet. Their effort yesterday was the best of the season, but I think Michigan is still on the upswing. I think there's room to improve on defense.

I think Ferentz is going to do whatever he can to stop Haskins, and take his chances that McNamara can't beat him with the passing game. Michigan's young WR corps could turn that strategy into a massive failure. Just think of what this team could be like right now with a healthy Ronnie Bell.

M was jazzed for the OSU game. It's hard to keep that kind of intensity up, physically and mentally. But this team has an eye on the prize sort of focus. I don't think I've seen that since the Bo era and maybe off and on with Moeller or LC. It has been absolutely missing for a long time. The last time we witnessed the kind of focus and intensity we saw yesterday was when LC coached his last game v. UF and beat Urban and Tebow convincingly. The outcome of that game was never in doubt just like yesterday's. Urbs got totally outcoached and looked unprepared for the offensive scheme LC came up with. totally out of character. M came out firing and surprised the shit out of UF. He had no answers.

Linesman is right about the kind of game prep Ferentz does and that Iowa has pulled out some impressive post season wins but the talent gap is pretty significant in this match-up. I'll do more looking at that as the week goes on.

You people need to start paying attention to my predictions. Until OSU's defense quit (I've read OSU players letting Haskins score may have been purposeful and CRD's decision), my prediction of a 34-31 M win was going to be pretty close. At least all you M fan nerdowells that said M would shit it's pants and lose, and there were a lot of you, we're shown to have your heads up your asses. I won't name names ........ but FFS, even Talent called it. You should all be a shamed of yourselves.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

It kinda did feel like Carr’s last game in Florida vs M.
That game, but this game vs OSU with significantly more on the line. No doubt, yesterday’s win was the most satisfying win I’ve seen. Not saying much.

To be fair, I predicted M to win 42-39 … page 1 of that thread.

There will be talk about M having a letdown all week. Hopefully that chatter becomes apparent to the M coaching staff and they have the team ready.

Iowa is JFA. They are letdown proof. It’s a decimation.

Cody, I think you and I may have been stand-alones among posters here in predicting an M win, along with Talent, of course. I think AA, if he had been around to do so, would have also picked M to win or at least cover.

You can beat me up all you like, Jeff. I'm one that doubted that as good as Michigan has been this year, I didn't think they'd be able to keep up with OSU's passing game. After their total destruction of MSU, I didn't see how M could win. But, I misjudged the resolve of the players, and I have no problem admitting that. These kids have been beating the odds all season long, and I don't see that ending just yet.

If anyone wants to see what this game means to old farts like Jeff, and players like Jim Brandstatter and especially Dan Dierdorf, .. watch just the last minute of Inside Michigan Football which will be on Bally Sports Detroit starting on Monday. I will keep this one in my permanent file. It speaks for itself. Watch Dierdorf at the very end.

Michigan fans who appreciate people like Dan Dierdorf will especially like the part that begins at 19:30.

I think its time to remove at least one of those "!" after Harbaugh. Its probably his best year as a CFB coach.

                              It probably is.
This feels like 15’-16’ Harbaugh, but slightly better.

Hasn’t been the same since that loss in Columbus.

                                That's better.

Actually, its fine with me no matter how many !!!! gets added to his name. He proved this season that he can coach, and he's not done yet. And he made some good off season moves with his assistants. Its his best season as a CFB coach, without a doubt.
