  • We managed to score just 20 vs Rutgers... A few bad drives/turnovers/penalities in a low possession game results in a very close game.

Fwiw 29-12 looks about what I expect. I'm somewhat playing devils advocate as I see too much confidence in M dominating.

You think? Don Brown was guilty to a fault at not adjusting when you need to.

Better now than then on offense.

Definitely, but the offense was the culprit against Iowa and OSU. Scheme this year takes better advantage of the talent and spreads the field horizontally. Smith and Higdon were mediocre running backs who didn't do diddly squat against anyone with a pulse.

                      • McNamara also seems to be more robust at QB than Speight was.

But it’s probably about time to let 2016 go - like that girlfriend that just “didn’t work out”. It’s better now.

                        • M seems flat, I know it's early, but they need to fix it.

                          • Kicker fixed it for them.

                            • They've got to keep better tabs on Laporta.

Still scoreless, as Dan Dierdorf jinxes Iowa's kicker.

                              • I really hate PI calls like the one that extended this drive. I guess it's not out of the norm but they need to keep the flags in their pocket when the contact is immaterial to the play and on the Hill PI it was.
