Iowa offense is offensive.... They get the ball first, almost a good thing with this field position game.

Stop making dumb mistakes like extending Iowa drives with penalties and fair catches at the three yard line and we win this one going away.
Also -- play a QB who can hit wide open receivers instead of the guy who never keeps on the option and is averaging 3.5 yards per pass attempt because he can't hit wide open receivers.Last edited by Hannibal; December 4, 2021, 10:16 PM.

This is a Ferentz specialty. He's plenty happy to play field position for now, and stay within striking range. Then, he'll try and steal it at the end. I doubt that he's upset with his team right now.
That said, M should be up about 28-3 right now."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

M’s defense is LONG overdue for a forced turnover. Come on! All I’m asking for is one…
Solid half. I can complain, but up 11 at half is a good thing.
vs Rutgers and Nebraska, M came out and struggled in the 2nd half. Hopefully they learned something and it’s more like vs Wisconsin or vs OSU.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Well, Michigan is certainly capable of making Ferentz's strategy fail miserably. Michigan holds a huge advantage on offense with their speed, and defensively, they've been stout. The problem is the crummy field position.
Key early in the 2nd half will be to stick a 3 and out on them in their first posession. If M can come out of that with decent field position, maybe they can put together a decent scoring drive."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"
