Good.
And I would have never suspected that they'd do it on the ground to the tune of 5 Haskins TD's. Yes, I know the last one was a gimme.
I really felt OSU would commit to stopping Haskins. If they did, it didn't work.

It wasn't that they finally got off the schneid, it's how they did.
They ran the ball down OSU's throat - and made some big plays in play action off that.
Haskins, Corum and Edwards, they didn't have an answer for any of them.

Don’t care about anything else right now. M won what I perceive as THE championship. Biggest sports victory since the Tigers in 2006.
Good game Ohio State. Iam and Dr stranglove. Good sports about it. Hope M fans don’t come across as toxic or anything.
But CHAMPIONSHIP. Who cares about anything else! M did it! Winning THE big game. Next week? It’s whatever.
18 years of this torture. It’s over.

My brother in law called me before the game (Sparty guy) and told me all the Michigan fans will be crying this afternoon, Lol I just texted my sister and he ..... for some reason isn't feeling well enough to talk. Damn I'm just glad I lived long enough for 2016 payback.

I've never seen this happen with OSU. After letting Haskins walk in for his 4th TD from the 4 you could see OSU's defense had given up. Then OSU drives down and scores to make it 27-35. OSU kicks off, Henning runs it back for a nice return followed by OSU lying down for the M's final drive with Haskin's 5th TD. Haskins just gashing a dejected, demoralized and absolutely physically out toughed Buckeye team.
Admittedly, I'll give Talent this: It was a RZ game with M forcing FGs at their end and getting TDs at OSU's. The other factor was no big plays. Fielded 20 yarders and kept them from turning into a catch, run, TD. Forced OSU to drive the field getting Day off his game. Other factors: Harassed Stroud. Kept OSU's run game in check.
Day's going to have nightmares about this loss.Last edited by Jeff Buchanan; November 27, 2021, 04:06 PM.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Believe me, the OSU defense wanted no part of any more UM running attack.
They were a broken unit in the runs leading up to the "give up" play.
That was a tap out - plain and simple.
They were in a Camel Clutch - and there is only one way out when The Sheik gets you in a locked in Camel Clutch.

If you’re a younger fan. Let’s say a millennial. You have no idea what beating Ohio State in a big game feels like.
Ignoring that fact…. 18 years of suffering for the entire M football fan base.
This is like throwing one bone to a starving fan base.
and damn, I love it. Only the Lions winning a Super Bowl one day could top it. Might never happen!AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

They don't even have a rivalry anymore, they have disappeared into an after thought.
Added: I'll say OSU needed this loss more than UM needed the win. A 1 sided affair year after year destroys a rivalry - and both teams would benefit from a healthy rivalry.
