This would almost make a good fiction novel, but its not fiction. And if someone at B1G headquarters had the balls to comment, they'd probably say something like "What's the problem"? Nothing to see here. Its just Michigan. An official with a proven track record of having bias against Michigan, is assigned to today's game. This is the same guy that has been photographed wearing OSU gear.

Lets see how this goes over:

Today's game with M vs OSU is being played in Columbus. OSU's AD has been given the names of the officiating crew say, 3 weeks ago. He sees a name on the list of a well-known Michigan fan who has worked OSU games before, and is also known to be heavy handed with his flag against OSU.

In the above scenario, OSU's AD would tell the B1G officiating supervisor that OSU will not take the field until the Michigan fan is replaced.

Guaran-fricking-teed. And he'd be right to do so.

The latest NWS Forecast (0650 EST) is predicting snow to start falling at Detroit Metropolitan Airport at 1500 EST. The trough that will be producing this snow, edging out the impact of a High Pressure center moving to the NE and out of MI, is arriving from WSW to ENE. It would not surprise me that we'll see some flakes with no accumulation around the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Be mindful that the biggest impact on this game is the cold temperatures mostly in the low 30s. That it is mostly below freezing would dictate light and dry snow flurries instead of the wet stuff.

Surfaces are still warm and light accumulation on the roads will melt and then freeze as temps drop post game. Driving could be messy.

Yeah, this one has a different pre-game feel to it for me anyway. It's not confidence of a win; it's more like M is going to play well and whatever happens, happens. I'm not likely to go into my traditional Sunday funk after a loss. A lot of that has to do with aging, with long standing conditioning that this game will be an M loss. Whatever.

That's true ........ SE MI is about the most difficult area in the US to forecast. My wife says, if you want to know the weather, look out the window.

It’s significant to start the game fast for M if more snow is expected later. Don’t let Ohio State start out well like vs Purdue, MSU.

Maybe ask to receive the kick to start the game.
