FTR, the line is 7. So I’m 12 points off of that or less off than predicting OSU by 20.

Right. The line is OSU -7. I’m predicting M +5. A difference of 12. Predicting OSU by 20 is a difference of 13, and thus further off of the betting line than my prediction.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Michigan hasn't played many good defenses either. Wisky is the only really good one that we played and we did OK. The offense trounced some really bad teams but it struggled against Rutgers and Penn State. It also has sputtered in the red zone repeatedly because we run crappy short yardage plays (no fullback and no running the QB). Our OL is legitimately really good at run blocking. Our WRs are meh without Bell and McNamara is an nonathletic "game manager". Our tight ends are arguably best in the country. It's a decent offense but not good enough to break 30 against OSU.

Here is the unsexiest but kind of amazing stat for the Michigan offense...
Our top 3 tailbacks have only lost 10 yards all year. We have only surrendered 24 TFLs on the season. I'd love to know where that ranks nationally.
Edit: I just found the answer. We are #1 in the nation in TFL allowed. The next best is Army with 31.

Thank you, Hassan Haskins, for your uncanny ability to fall forward for at least two yards every time that you get hit.

Oregon is fine. They're a good P12 team. That's about it. Ohio State had no business losing to them.
Next year Ohio State plays Notre Dame at home early. If CRD fucks up that game, too, I'm going to be exceedingly pissed off. F Notre Dame.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Boy, I hope it wasn't too much. I'd hate to see Central Nebraska lose it's go-to wing spot on an ill-advised backing of the jittery CJ Stroud and Coombs' Clownshow defense.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Stroud is going to pad his stats and enhance his standing with the Heisman voters. If Michigan's defenders manage to lay a hand on him it will be amazing. CRD isn't going to let him sit in the pocket with a bullseye on his uniform. He's going to move around and hit receivers.
M will give a great effort, but we all know how the story ends. Its like reading the back of the book first.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
