The defensive backs have sucked all year. This was one of the few games this year where the DL was bullied as well.

Hi Paul: You'll be pleased to know that the thread we started just for you, probably 20 years ago, (Borg) still exists.
OSU has a lot of talent, which makes the win much more significant. We need this thing to become a real rivalry again, not a constant beatdown by one team.

Not only does Hutch deserve consideration, but his friend on offense, Hassan Haskins deserves a fair look as well ... IMO
But, the committee could say that Haskins isn't even the best RB in Michigan.
Lew Nichols III at CMU is the nation's leading rusher. True freshman. I saw him play earlier in the year. He looks ready for the NFL right now."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

Anyway I know losing to Michigan at any time is no fun at all for you guys, but at least if anything it should boost up the health of the rivalry. Which I think was badly needed. Due to the dominance and sheer one sidedness of the rivalry in recent memory, there was lots of debate as to whether it was even a true rivalry anymore.

I, as much as anyone here, understand what that wins means to M fans. I respect what it means at the same time utterly detesting it. My daughter, who is 17, said that she and her friends felt that at least now she'll really want to beat M next year. Some sort of silver lining. I guess she doesn't know any better. That's what I kept telling myself as I summoned every ounce of control I possess to not berate her or worse.
I can tell you, confidently, that 9 straight years of dominance does nothing to soften that loss for me and there will be no searching for silver linings by this fan.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Correct. Nothing worse than watching your entire program disintegrate in real-time. Ohio State will be much more like the Bruce-era teams than the UFM-era teams. The only thing I have going for me is that at least we're no Oklahoma, who may be on fast track back to the John Blake era.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
