Bama wins in 4OT. Auburn gave them 40 seconds at the end of regulation by trying eke out a couple more yards instead of falling down in bounds. Poor kid will probably get death threats for the rest of his life.

Hopefully Georgia will blow out Bama, knocking them out of the playoffs. Should be Georgia/Michigan/Cincy/Neutred Lame.

I've seen a good bit of Iowa mid-season but not vs Nebraska, they relied very, very heavily on causing turnovers and playing field position football. Offensively they are quite inept, they want to run the ball but aren't particularly good at it. Their QB's stats are a lil better than I expected, I didn't think Petras was a real threat to beat you with his arm and from what I saw he prefers throwing the ball less than 10-yards downfield... Their meal ticket is disguising their zone coverage/blitzes, confusing quarterbacks and getting them to throw bad passes...

I think the Hawkeyes offense is so bad they shouldn't have much of a chance, I don't think they should score 20+.

A little playoff discussion when it comes to M.
I think the top 4 this week should be:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3, Cincinnati
4. Alabama

Bama should take a hit due to their close win to 6-6 Auburn (Penn State beat Auburn BTW).
If M beats Iowa and Bama beats Georgia, I think it gets interesting. Does M possibly deserve the #1 seed with Georgia falling off? Bama vs Georgia as the #2 vs #3. Committee might want to avoid a rematch in the first round, but it makes some sense that M could get the #1 seed.

Need Texas A&M to lose to LSU. Make Bama’s loss look worse.

I think Georgia will handle Alabama, but it may be closer than we all think.

I'd love to see Georgia v ND .. and M vs Cincy in round 1.

I'd almost like to say that I'd like to see M's DL's against that Georgia OL, but I don't want to get cocky.

You’re gonna play Georgia. That won’t go well for you, but it’ll happen. UC and ND would be two of the worst CFP teams ever.

One projection I saw:

1. Georgia
2. Cincy
3. Michigan
4. ND

The reasoning was that Michigan can't pass Cincy because of defeated/1-loss. ND can't pass Cincy due to HtH loss, and ND would be the last one in. Michigan also wins SOS with ND.

Of course Iowa may buggar everything up and get Michigan booted out, but that's one scenario that's being bandied about.

I figure if M gets in, they're going to face Georgia eventually anyway, so just be prepared. Nobody is beating the Dawgs.

and, .. see how a single officiating error can have a huge effect on the post season? M should be undefeated and no worse than #2 today.

If UAT plays Georgia close I’d have them ahead of ND. 1-loss B12 champ, too.

I think on Tuesday it’ll be Georgia, UAT, M, UC. I don’t think UC gets above 4 unless ND is 4.
