Maybe we can back into the Rose Bowl. That would be cool.

I think Zinter is gone, no matter what. Even if he has eligibility left, he's already caught the eye of the NFL. He could go high 2nd round.

That would be a bummer about Zinter. I feel like All probably could go too.

But, remember. Everyone on the team in 2020 was granted an additional year of (Covid) eligibility. So, guys who might want to come back can do so, and it doesn't go against the 85 player scholarship limit. So that option is available for guys who may want to come back and boost their NFL stock. I'm not sure how many people that would affect.

It would suck if we lose Ojabo too.

Yeah, losing both Hutch and Ojabo will be tough, but Ojabo has shown he can play at the next level. He's going to have a decision to make. Hutch is going in the first round, so he'd be crazy to use a Covid year.

I’m hoping that Ojabo has enough unrealized upside to stick around for another year. Zinter too. We’ll lose Hill, Ross, and Hutch of course.

Although Dax Hill has been good this year, he hasn't really been a major national star. Where would he project in the draft, and any chance he might come back?

Yeah, I think Dax is gone, as is Ross as well. Zinter is probably gone as well. I think Hutch will be in the top ten drafted.

Maybe some transfer portal guys might give a look at Michigan if they see they can come in and fill a need. The defense is going to be hit harder than the offense.

Good question. He seems to be this year's unsung hero but he doesn't get hyped up on broadcasts much.

Ohio State beat Maryland by 49. Michigan beat Maryland by 41. I think we're splitting hairs at this point when complaining about the margin of victory over Maryland.

                        • Donovan Edwards playing like that vs Maryland is crazy to me. I had no idea he was capable of doing that as a receiving RB. Like.. where was that all season?
I don't follow recruiting anymore for many reasons... so people saying Edwards is comparable to Kamara is news to me.

                          This.

                          • Even if Corum returns, I think Edwards, with that performance, has earned himself a part of the game plan this Saturday. He deserves some touches Saturday.

                            • Put him in as a slot receiver. Make sure he's on the field with either Haskins or Corum. Hell, we haven't run an I formation all year. Imagine all three lining up....

Agree. Obviously we're going to need all hands on deck this Saturday. You're going to need every possible weapon you have to compete with that team, and Donovan Edwards is absolutely a weapon that Ohio State would have to respect.
