7-6. Michigan pays for handing Penn State good field position, but should manage to keep a lead into the half.

I expect M to more or less dominate the 2nd half.

M will give up yards when they aren't getting to the QB.

They get to the QB every other play.

One thing I want to mention, and it regards the entire season.

The shortcomings this year have not been due to a lack of effort on the players. The guys are giving 100% of whatever they've got. Both sides of the ball. The OL has had the best year I've seen in a long time, but its hard to be 'great' when five guys are being asked to block 6 and 7 guys. Even the mighty Dawgs and Tide would have a problem with that. Hassan Haskins is Michigan's best RB in recent history. He gives 100% of whatever he's got, every time. Hutch, Ross, even McNamara, have all had great effort this year. If effort alone could win games, Michigan would be undefeated.

What holds this team back is its coaching staff. My son and I now have a new tradition. Whenever Michigan runs the ball between the tackles on 1st down, we raise our fists and shout "Schembechler!!!" Its 1970's Bo-ball. And PSU is ready for it.

I don't know what the rest of this game holds, but I have no doubt that Michigan will continue to get microscoped by the zebras, and PSU will get a free pass. I was shocked on the downed punt going in Michigan's favor. Very out of character for the zebras to review something that might help Michigan.

Anyway ... 'go blue' .. or whatever. 9-3 is better than 2-6, so I guess its an improvement.

M is going to keep getting to Clifford. They might get burned once or twice, but they'll get turnovers too.

And that includes the plays where Michigan has the ball.

Ohio State’s shitty DL got a ton of pressure on Clifford and was frequently and obviously held without getting a single flag. M is gonna obliterate that offense in the 2nd half

Yeah, watching the game, it’s obvious M is the better team.

14-6, good guys. Roman Wilson with his second TD. That drive went almost exactly to plan.

Well, that was good. The pass on the play before the TD was gutsy.
