29-7 is your final. Aside from the effort by Hassan Haskins, this was an uninspired slog of a game, and Michigan's injury situation is worrying. That won't get it done next week.

What I learned from this game? Jeff Brohm is the best coach in the Big Ten. Trounced MSU, absolutely ham blasted them. How? Well, MSU has a weak pass D. Optimize that on offense and win convincingly.
M's coaches? Do what M does, never mind what weaknesses IU has or what their D gives you in game. Plod and predictably struggle with IU. There is no way with Corum and it looks like Anthony out, M will win in HV. NO WAY. But the biggest thing holding back these great players is the incompetence of the coaching staff.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Look, we know what this team is. Even before the MSU loss there were championship limiting elements to it. The most obvious to me was the apparent inability of the coaching staff to optimize talent given an opponent's defense and minimize deficiencies to exploitation by an opponent. On offense there is just too much reliance on base run plays in the red zone. Teams know what's coming on a down by down basis. It's not a lack of trickeration. It's a lack of a coherent offensive approach - this has been a problem for M for a decade and under both Hoke and Harbaugh.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. M has a couple players banged up/ injured at the wrong time.
QB#1 McNamara and TE#1 All appear to be ok, but are going through something minor.
CB#1 Germon Green, WR#3 Anthony, and WR#4/ PR Henning appeared to suffer an injury. Not sure how serious.
RB#1b Corum might be like week-to-week. Nothing serious, but it sounds like it’s unlikely for Corum to play against PSU.
RB#2 Edwards, no idea. Hopefully he’s back next week.
I would label healthy Roman Wilson as WR#2, if not Andrel Anthony. The fact that Wilson’s playing time isn’t there tells me his injury still is a factor.
With all of the injuries and the fact that Harbaugh struggles on the road vs ranked teams… I now say it’s 65-35 PSU wins.
But hey, that’s a chance. It’s not improbable.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

UM is a 2.5 favorite in early odds (Odds Shark), predicting a 31-28 final score.
This is a noon game, not a night white out contest.
Haskins spoke with Corum and he says the injury "is minor" and "will be back soon". That makes Blake iffy not definitely out for PSU. We'll need either him or Edwards back for this one.I don't watch Fox News for the same reason I don't eat out of a toilet.

Interesting note to the Purdue/Sparty game. This is the 17th (!!!) time unranked Purdue has knocked off a top 5 team. Where the hell do you rank this Jeckle and Hyde team?I don't watch Fox News for the same reason I don't eat out of a toilet.

I agree, Hanni. 9 wins is the end of the line, and a Florida date with Auburn/TAMU or even Alabama, if they lose to Georgia in the SEC CG.
They played like a team that was still hung over from a bad loss.
Biggest question now is, how many are hurt, and how badly? Corum was said to be wearing a walking boot and in civilian clothes on the sideline. The two WR's never came back from the locker room. Green's injury is probably the worst. Likely collarbone/clavicle or shoulder separation.

Combination of a bunch of power/computer rankings:
Michigan fares well but again, they've only played one good team and lost. Their best win is a meh Wisconsin. Penn State is about on par with Sparty if not for losing their QB in the middle of a loss to Iowa and played without him vs Illinois.
