Well, at least we can put to bed all the stupid talk about Michigan being:
a. Playoff contender
b. Conference champion
c. Beating OSU
d. Beating PSU
e. Becoming a solid football team
So, lets put that stuff to rest, okay?
Harbaugh is now 0-8 on the road against Top Ten teams. Great job, Coach. Spend that new contract money wisely.
State got the benefit of every replay, including the strip fumble/TD. Micro-officiating at its best You're welcome, State.
State got the benefit of more than 90% of the penalty calls. Michigan is under the microscope with Big Ten officiating. But, Michigan will take it up the posterior like they always do.
Four FG's = 12 points. Four TD's w/extra points = 28 points. 28 minus 12 = 16 points left on the field. Thanks GattisBaugh
I wonder when Michigan will start running the ball on every first down?
Oh yes, lets put in the back up quarterback when your starter is having his best game of the season. Good call, Coach. Another "great" Michigan coach used to do the same thing to a guy who went on and played in 10 Super Bowls, and has won 6 of them. McNamara isn't going to even get IN to the NFL, but he was your best QB today. The McCarthy fumble is on you.

I'm 67 years old now, and I've been watching this series regularly since I was about 12. I was once a Spartan fan. Loved Duffy Daugherty. Since becoming a M fan around 1970, and seeing most of the M vs MSU games during that time, of all the games that MSU has won during that time frame, I've seen them win maybe about 5 games, where they laid the wood to Michigan and were clearly the better team. This was not one of those.
I predicted a MSU win by 6 points, and they won by 4. I had no idea it would be like this. This was probably the biggest give-away game that I've ever seen Michigan play.
Finally, just like all the years in the Harbaugh regime, I've never seen a team with so much talent, waste it away on a regular basis. Dan Dierdorf is right. This should not have happened.

What other UM coach in the last 20 years would have choked that game away?
Rich Rod.
Been saying since the start, Michigan Football would've been better off keeping Brady Hoke, to say nothing of the savings $$$$$$$$$$$$
question remains, how long are they committed to their mistake? #'s don't lie, and the players didn't lose that one.

'Choke Again' once more.
I went to Michigan years ago, and after Brady graduated a little over 20 years ago, I've more or less don't watch or listen to Michigan football.
Today's loss was expected, because Michigan once again gets arrogant and don't do the little things to put away a quality opponent like Michigan State.
Harbaugh needs to go back to the NFL, because he's been a major disappointment at Michigan.
