It's time for my weekly rant about how the NCAA needs to put a stop to that annoying and retarded bullshit. No more than one timeout at a time. And if the ball gets snapped before the whistle let it go.

This has been a great game. Two teams playing lights out. MSU is every bit as good as their booking. McNamara has the passing edge over Thorne and he looks sharp. M has over 330 yards (250+) passing. New guy Anthony has 4 catches off 5 targets for 136y and 2 TDs.

Aside from the continuing RZ issues good game plan that's emphasizing the pass. 34 pass/16 run. It feels like M is in control. Moving the ball nicely. MSU isn't driving the ball but big run plays from Walker. Fits their MO.

3 is good at end- especially since Tucker played the asshole. 7 would have been just deserved to make up for the botched fumble call. If they called it a TD, Sparty would have gotten the last minute and a half.

Dear Mel Tucker: You've actually called a pretty decent ballgame. You've caught Michigan with their pants down on subsitutions a couple times, and it's given you 14 points. Good for you. However, one tip here. Don't piss off Jake Moody. Don't do it. We've had kickers in the past where your bush league crap at the end would have worked. It won't work with Moody.

Michigan NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER gets a fair shake in officiating in EL. The Big Ten prides itself on watching Michigan tighter and closer than any other team in the league. The fumble/TD was micro-officiating at its worst. NO DOUBT that if McNamara fumbled into the endzone, we'd not have gotten the favorable "review" that State got.

They did get the targeting thing right. It wasn't targeting, and they picked up the flag. One right.

I just hope that the lack of TD's doesn't bite us in the butt.
