Just in case ...... that's Harbaugh. Maybe obvious to some. M lost that game as noted above to the John Cooper coached Arizona State.during the era when the PAC10 was actually good.
Talent gives way too much credit to Bo for engineering the Cooper era at OSU. Cooper made his own bed and slept in it when it came to playing Michigan. That's what led to M's dominance under LLLLLoyd. Schembechler had nothing to do with that.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Its been a fun 7 weeks, I didn't think I would enjoy this season much as I have. I think State does its thing - scores a early TD on an easy drive, Michigan is behind the 8 ball all game. Have to go with MSU in this one.
On a side note; I haven't watched a game sober this season, unlike the past I have always been the opposite. Wanting to soak it in sharply, this has cause a lot of pain for to long. I will be three sheets to the wind by kickoff (at the game) , with all MSU family - time to break out the Jerry F Bouldin fake binoculars fill with (Rum) ...

A review of FEI, S&P+ and Sagrin all uniformly project OSU to win the BIGE with M the runner-up. OSU remains the favorite in all it's remaining games while M is an underdog only v OSU (34.3%, 6.4). They are a 3.5 point, 58.8% favorite in EL today.
By this time of the season, fancy stats tend to get pretty accurate in predicting winners and losers. OTH, teams regularly perform above or below expectations, weather or bad calls intervene or randomness.
I don't know what sorts of weighting total scoring gets in these systems but it seems to me, in OSU's case, they get a bump from the gaudy number of points they put up and probably score differential. Whatever ....... I can't see M going undefeated in BT play just on the eyeball check. By fancy stats, OSU has a 33% of going undefeated while, Michigan, runner up in all the rankings, has a 5.75 chance of going undefeated.
That most here predicted a ceiling of 8 wins for M this season, that the numbers mostly predict M with an 11 and 1 record is nothing short of amazing. 11 wins for M then is the expectation. How often has Harbaugh coached his teams to expectation? IMO, not once and therein lies the problem with fancy stats.

I think Wing's scenario is very likely. MSU will get a TD on its first offensive posession and M will not. M will be playing from behind all game long.
The season has been better than expected. We've had some good moments this season, and it sucks to have the losses come against the biggest rivals. I wish things could be different.
Weather today is mostly cloudy with temps in the lower 50's. There's a possibility of a stray shower or two, but otherwise fairly dry conditions.
