NW offense is pretty much as advertised. It's going to take turnovers or blown coverages for them to score against the 1st string.

Might be difficult for M to score 49 at the current pace. A lot of clock is running in the game.
All of the FOX analysts basically had M winning something like 31-10. Seems about right.

Again, really like that M is taking some shots with the passing offense. It’s all about live reps to become more comfortable with it down the road.

McNamarra's check downs held the offense back on their first two possessions. M's OL isn't dominating the LOS like they should in the run game. Not a fan of putting McCarthy in for red zone plays ...... if he's being put in to threaten the RO, he needs to run that. My take is those plays are pure hand-offs from the start.

Anyway, a slog for M's offense. D playing as expected.

10-7, as Northwestern breaks a big one on first down. Everybody in the middle of the Michigan defense just got lost on that play.

M has kind of dominated except for a costly fumble and gaffe on the big NW TD. NW with their small ball game.
