Name the last time that Michigan defeated two quality opponents on the road in the same season.

Yes, in spite of their records, both Wisconsin and Nebraska qualify as quality opponents. I don't think either team is on Alabama or Georgia's list of easy walkover win opponents.

    Huskers by 7.

Mobile QB, on the road, night game, red circle game. No way, man. This will be Nebraska's version of kinnicking the other team.

    Sorry for the BPONE.

Rutgers QB nearly led them back to a win, if not for a bonehead call in the 4th. Martinez is better than him.

    Just stop it. Huskers win.

You'd probably have to go back to a Carr M season. Like maybe 2005 or 2006.
Rich Rod, Hoke, and Harbaugh haven't done it... sadly.

I'm not trying to sound like a 'debbie downer.' I did think M would win last week vs Wisconsin.
Something spooky about a night game at Nebraska with a lot of factors playing into this.
        - M coming off a big win on the road vs Wisconsin. Wisconsin is down, but I still think it was a big win for M. Could be a letdown.
        - Nebraska has some building confidence coming into the game.
        - The thought that this could be FROST's biggest win as HC at Nebraska.
        - Again, primetime night game on the road. Hostile crowd.
        - No Roman Wilson.

At the very least, it's a trap game. Fingers crossed M wins a close one and keeps the DREAM (34% playoff chance according to the All-State playoff predictor 😂) alive!

A more important question is what real impact do previous seasons have to do with the game being played tonight? In other words, it’s a dumb stat- and Dumb stats eventually trend to even out.

But really, how often does Michigan even play 2 quality opponents in the road? And are Wisconsin or Nebraska at the same level as OSU, PSU, or Dantonio’s Spartans?

I get the skepticism, but let’s look past the superstitions. It will come down to talent, discipline and execution. Let’s see if they can bring all three like they did last week.

To be fair, some seasons you don't even play 2 quality opponents.

              That's true in OSU's case, .. not M's.

M loses to both quality and inferior teams.

Accept the inevitable. Its easier to handle when it happens.

                  Nebraska by 7.

                      • What I regret most about this game is that I was not able to travel to Lincoln to sample some of the 8th best wings in Nebraska.

                        Its on my bucket list.

                        • Three and out on the first possession. Sainristil can't come up with a tough catch for the first down.

                              • Still scoreless, as Michigan turns away the Huskers on a 4th and 2 from the 3.
