That said, this is why I have no interest in ever buying season tickets and paying for a seat license and all that bullshit.

By the numbers, at least, this is a much-improved team, and one that doesn't figure to do much to beat itself.
I don't know what the future holds for the Scarlet Knights, but I still think the old bogeyman of MSU being MSU will rear its ugly head at some point. It has happened at some point, every year since Duffy left"in order to lead America you must love America"

The true value of tickets to a game against a lousy opponent is WAY less than the original cost of a ticket. You can go to all four wins vs tomato cans (possibly the first six home games) for the same price as watching OSU take Michigan’s lunch money.Last edited by Mike; September 22, 2021, 06:22 PM.

A ticket sold for $20 is $20 more than $0.00.

I like the convenience of the home games ticket package that my son and I have bought for the last decade by participating in a pool of season ticket holders then spreading the tickets out within our group that often provides access to games for folks that otherwise couldn't afford them. But, as Mike has pointed out, I'm paying a lot more for that package than I might have to if I just bought tickets for the games I actually attend on Stub Hub. But our group has a good thing going. If that dissolves we lose some of it's benefits.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

I thought mgo's FFF Rutgers Offense brought Rutgers back down to earth by a couple of notches. They are a spread offense that runs a lot of power and their RB is a "danger man." But the run game is hamstrung by a passing game where the OL can't pass block.
McDonald's D as we have seen it perform in the first three games does well against spread offenses that don't have some threat from a solid passing game. He seems to find weaknesses to exploit up front and exploits them. Seeing the mix of defensive alignments M throws out there and that a QB has to read them pre-snap to get the right play called then post-snap, in the face of confusing M D movement, to make the RO and RPO plays work is pretty impressive.
FFFF Rutgers Defense is pending but, aside from a couple of players suspended, it's not hot garbage and stands up to the run better than M's 3 previous opponents, at least by the numbers.
M 31* - Rutgers 10.

Ok, Game predictions time:
M 42 - Rutgers 13. Michigan continues their ground pounding, plus a few 'take the top off' passes and a few more to take advantage of the paintball boys. Rutgers is a slight step up from our recent competition, as they seem to be playing disciplined football, however they don't have the horses to make this a real matchup. Game will be pretty much over by the half.
