28-3, as Michigan's passing game makes a cameo appearance, and then Haskins punches another one in. That's probably all the passing that's going to be necessary today.

There's another deep shot, and this one works. 35-3, as Cornelius Johnson torched his guy.

CJ put a nice move on the CB that made that play go.

Welp, so much for McNamara having limitations. First he read the D perfectly. No S help over the top in press man on the pre-snap read and he took the top off of the D..... not to mention a perfectly placed throw with CJ in stride.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Flawless first half. They’re putting on a clinic. Super fun to watch.

I'd give McNamara the first possession of the second half, maybe two possessions.

                35-3 at the half.

This game is fun, but Michigan is doing what they're supposed to do. They are convincingly flattening an inferior opponent.

All seriousness aside, they'll need a more balanced attack, and they'll need it beginning next week.

But again, one game at a time, and this one is fun to watch. Especially since "Rocky" is their shining star.

Could there be an Alan Bowman appearance?

that's the QB that transferred in from Texas Tech ...

Run and pass defense are shredding NIU. Run defense has been soft up the middle.

                        McNamara gets no second-half possessions.

Blake Corum breaks a 49-yard TD. Time to empty the bench.

                        42-3.

Barring an error fest and/or NIU chewing up a bunch of clock on long drives, we should get to half a hundred at least.

Take away the one backfield mixup with Edwards and McNamara and we are averaging 9 ypc today.
