That's what its going to take to get the necessary changes on State Street. Maybe we need Ryan Day to follow thru with his promise to hang 100 on Michigan this year. That would certainly grease the rails.

No coaching change will take place during the season, so forget that. If Manuel is going to make a change it will be after the season. That being said, I wouldn't be shocked to see him allow Harbaugh to return next year.

I don't see any sure wins remaining on the schedule.

    • Forgot about Nick Sheridan. Starting QB for Rich Rod’s first game coaching at M.

M just lost to an Indiana football team that has Nick Sheridan as OC and Mike Hart at RB coach. First loss to Indiana since 1987.

      • 38-21 is your final. Well deserved win for Indiana, who was better in every phase. As for Michigan, last week felt like the death of the Harbaugh era at Michigan. This felt like the wake.

        • Not the blowout assrape that I was hoping for, but still acceptable. Presumably, the Wisky game is cancelled, which means we've got Rutgers next.

          It's a loss. I'm calling it now.

              That would be hilarious.

It would be worth it alone for the Mike Valenti hot takes.

              • I'll be very surprised if Harbaugh coaches again, once he leaves or is fired.

I think its a real possibility that he'll just simply resign. They'll work out a amicable settlement to his contract, and that will be it.

                • He'll coach again. It's all that he knows how to do. And he'll get another job easily, based on his pre-Michigan work. Maybe if he takes a year off and does some soul searching, he can regain his old form.

Cowboys, Chargers, or Bears could all be great fits for Jim Harbaugh.

Harbaugh was an excellent NFL head coach. Would get a job instantly if he wanted to coach again in the NFL.
Though some make the argument that Harbaugh’s success in SF related to having elite coordinators in Greg Roman and Vic Fangio.

Chargers and Bears I could see.
As long as Jerry owns the 'Boys and still has an active hand in everything Jerryville, it's a tough sell seeing Harbaugh in Dallas.

                        • I think Harbaugh is done as a coach. Finished.

When he leave as Michigan's HC, I think he will remain in the AA area, and still have some sort of connection to the university.

But I don't think he will ever coach again.

                            • So, how's M's OL doing these days? It's supposed to be a huge strength of the team -- or, at least -- that's what the geniuses at MGO think. Curious how well M is running the ball.

                              Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
