    • If PDJT restores B10 footbal then I'd seriously reconsider my vote.

      • If Trump gets football back in the B1G he will be forgiven for grabbing her in the pussy...

        • When Teddy Greenstein starts hinting at a possible course reversal then I start to think maybe, just maybe, it's possible.

          • I think there is going to be an enormous amount of pressure put on the 11 Presidents who voted for no football...now that the vote was made public...there was a reason why they kept it secret for so long...KW probably assured them all the vote would remain sealed to protect them and allow them to vote without fear of this pressure. I think this week will tell us if there is a chance the B1G will play a fall season of some kind and have a chance to participate in the playoff.

Obviously the only Presidents with marbles are at UNL, tOSU and Iowa...

            • I'm not exactly sure how this works now. Do they need 60% to undo this awful decision. Or is it just 8?

Ohio State, UNL and Iowa are definitely in. God bless those schools for standing strong.

I think Wisconsin, Penn State and maybe Indiana are ripe to switch.

That leaves them need 2 or 3 more.

Rutgers, Maryland, Northwestern and both fucking M schools are hard NOs. That means they need to get Purdue (I think that's a yes), Minnesota (politics, man) and Illinois (politics, man).

Unbelievably, I think there's a chance that politics will move from a background reason for season cancellation to THE REASON.

It's not a chance. Politics is definitely the reason behind this. Absolutely 100%.

As far as a re-vote...not sure of the number needed...but I don't see Minnesota or Illinois voting yes. But my solution would be...any school that wants to play...play. Play a fucking round robin schedule of those schools that want to play. Winner goes to the playoff. UNL, OSU, Wisconsin, Iowa, PSU, Purdue, Indiana...play 6 games...maybe play one or two teams twice based on geography (UNL could play Iowa and Wisky twice for example). Fuck the rest of them. Fuck em.

PDJT is probably trying to help student athetes in conferences that might actually change course. No need to call the MAC -- they can't afford to switch course. No need to call the P12 -- the politics out there is too strong.

The B10 might actually change course and that would be a crushing blow to you and your party. But, don't worry, your boy Warren is going to hold strong and flush the B10 season down the toilet. You'll still get your wish.

Yep. The problem is that the B10 is holding to this farce that they're going to play in January (or November). So, if those schools play earlier then they can't be a part of the B10 "spring season".

Of course, we all know that January football will never happen and even if it did it would amount to nothing more than bullshit fucking scrimmages that no one would give a fuck about.

                        • I stil don't have the first fucking clue why they won't at least TRY to play a semi-normal season. If it all goes to hell, then January is your Plan B. Fine, whatever.

But I just don't fucking understand the harm in trying. It's so motherfucking infuriating. Ohio high schools are playing football. A fuckton of them. They're into week two already. But, somehow Ohio State can't play. If I think about it for more than 30 seconds I start to lose my fucking mind.

                            • I made the mistake of visiting the mgoblog forums today. It has basically morphed into The Huffington Post at this point. They caught the SJW cancer and it's terminal. About 90% of the posters there and the entire staff are openly rooting against football to be played. They won't be the first website to decline into irrelevance because of the SJW cancer and they won't be the last.
