I don't like Warren any more than you do, Wiz. But, I think all he's done is put into effect what the presidents want. I don't think he carries any kind of authority to overrule them.
Its kind of like Roger Goodell and the other professional sports commissioners. They are hired and paid by the owners, and they will never, ever oppose what they want."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

So the ACC, SEC AND BIG 12 Presidents all saw this so differently? I have a real problem with that liney. I don't think that's true. I think the other conference commissioners were more influential and much better leaders than Warren. The Pac 12 just followed the B1G. Warren is a fucking pussy.Shut the fuck up Donny!

I think the Nebraska parents are suggesting that a football team in a conference is more of an association and not something that is under absolute control of the conference and that a unilateral decision to cancel a season - which is against the wishes of the university president, the AD, the coach, and the players - is actionable.
I don’t think it will go anywhere, and it is likely more just to officially and formally register disapproval.Last edited by AlabamAlum; August 27, 2020, 03:04 PM."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

I guess I don't know this either way but just because the Big10 canceled the season, does that mean Nebraska is forbidden from setting up its own independent schedule if it really wanted to?
