The fact that this week's CDC news didn't move the needle at all for college football proves that there is no circumstance short of a vaccine under which most of the programs in the B1G are going to agree to play.

We went from "football will kill the kids" to "football will kill grandma" to "football will kill grandma if she has asthma and weights 250 lbs with diabetes" and it's still not enough.

I guess you need 9 votes to reverse course, so it's all for not. They probably only have 7 max. So, if those 7 had voted the right way in the first instance then none of this happens. But, since they didn't they need 9. Fucking ridiculous.

And the State of Michigan is going to assfuck the B10. And, hopefully, this forever assfuck both those programs. The votes are out there. We all know who cares about providing student-athletes an opportunity to play their sports and who is willing to sacrifice its students in the name of politics.

I made the mistake of visiting the mgoblog forums today. It has basically morphed into The Huffington Post at this point. They caught the SJW cancer and it's terminal. About 90% of the posters there and the entire staff are openly rooting against football to be played. They won't be the first website to decline into irrelevance because of the SJW cancer and they won't be the last.

I just was browsing over there. Dude. Lol yes it's insufferable over there. I mean I still doubt it happens (the BT reversing course) but if you're a college football fan, regardless of whether not you're a liberal or a conservative, wouldn't this Trump-Warren thing qualify as good news at the end of the day?

Yes I absolutely agree it seems like 9 out of 10 of them over there (if not 10 of 10) are just focused (and angry) as to why Trump is doing this and are openly rooting against it. Wtf?!? I saw a bunch of them saying how the only reason he's doing it is because he needs midwest swing states.

And if that was true....WHO CARES!!!! Jeezus. I couldn't care less what his reasoning is. But for us that would like to see the Big Ten attempt a season along with the SEC & the Big 12 then it's better news than the alternative (which is no news). And #1 is, the players, the players' families, and the programs WANT to play.

I wanted to make a post basically saying this but I have to have like a certain number of forum points to post so I couldn't. They probably would've banned me anyway or brought out their SJW pitchforks on my ass.

Clay Travis has reported via Dan Patrick that if Kevin Warren can get 9 Presidents to vote yes on a season that the BiG will begin play on October 10th. But as Talent said that would be tough. I think 7 are a go...UNL, OSU, PSU, Wisky, Iowa, Indiana and Purdue...M/MSU are a definite no...as are Rutgers/Maryland more than likely...so you need two of the three to vote yes...Illinois, NW, Minny...I think NW would be a no and the other two are probably 50/50 at best.

As much as I hate agreeing with talent about M v OSU, I think he hit the nail on the head earlier. Most M fans are relieved that there will be no annual beatdown in Columbus this year. No football, no beatdown.

I'm relieved that there is no scheduled beatdown, but I'd still like to see the season get played. Shoot, I'd love it if they started the season off with M v OSU at Columbus. Start it with a bang.
