  • Dusty May it is.
I like the hire. Seems like there’s potential. He built FAU basketball from nothing into a final 4 team last season. May will have to build Michigan basketball from nothing… the current state of the gutted program.

FAU was in Purdue’s region last season. Purdue folks were nervous about playing FAU in the round of 32 because of their awesome guard play. Turns out looking ahead of FDU was a big mistake. I would love to see awesome guard play return to Ann Arbor.

Sorry for Louisville … losing out on their guy.

        • Seems like a good hire, considering where the program is now.

            • The local Miami papers have nothing but high praise for their former FAU B-Ball coach, Dusty May. It's surprising that Howard was such a stupendous failure. Hard to explain how the program just tanked under his leadership - not a good look for him at all. Fresh starts are always great ...... when they turn out well.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

              • Warde Manuel deserves his props for this one. He had his ducks in a row and we likely got our #1 pick fullly vetted and ready to go ahead of time so that they could pull the trigger right when FAU's season ended.
