The conventional wisdom in Ann Arbor is that Dickinson just wasn't feelin' it and wasn't happy this year, and it showed on the court. Maybe that's wrong. I dunno.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a renewed version of him next year, because I don't think he's purely a cut-the-check kind of player, and in a sense you can't blame him for getting what he can out of this now because he won't make as much as a pro in the lesser leagues he's fated to play in. But his best fit is on a team where he's not the best player and not the leader, and in that scenario I think you'd get more out of him.
Personally, I'm mostly glad this period is in the past for Michigan, assuming that it is. We can be a bubble team without him thank you very much. Not hard to do.Last edited by hack; April 27, 2023, 12:06 PM.

Jaelin Llewellyn gets his medical waiver, so he will be back for next season. That is pretty big.
And Michigan will play @ Oregon this year. (12/2)Last edited by Whitley; April 30, 2023, 10:43 PM.2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

The strange thing about all these transfers and NIL deals was that we all criticized John Belien for not being able to recruit, but now it appears that the Belien-type recruit is better for a program than the one-and-done.
