If the Indiana loss didn't shut the door on M's NCAA Tourney hopes, then tonight's loss to Wisconsin should SLAM the door. The team is finding new ways to lose.
NIT maybe. The school name will be more persuasive in getting into the NIT than their record will be.
Yeah, I think we have 10 new players which is among the most in the country. For whatever reason, it seems like the wheels have fallen off. Two years ago we were Big Ten Champs, a 1 seed in the tourney, and had the #1 ranked recruiting class for 2022. Now they can't walk and chew gum at the same time.
Michigan had some one-and-dones and couldn't replace them with similar talent. Places like Kentucky, North Carolina and Duke can do that, but not Michigan.
They've got some decent talent coming in next year, and a couple guys injured who should be back. Lets see how that works.
