Nimari Burnett has been the greatest surprise for M basketball. Coming out of nowhere with a hot start to the season. Plus Dug McDaniel ascending faster than anyone expected.

Tschetter and Williams appear to be immensely improved also.

When some Michigan fans were saying how Hunter leaving would actually be addition by subtraction, I thought that was an insane take TBH, but it looks like they may have been onto something. Because we can actually run the floor now.

If you have a guy like Dug...with the way he can run, I think Hunter being on the floor with him would just hold him back.

I was thinking more Jett Howard. Boy have we had some disappointing one-and-dones lately. With that said, Dickinson's morale looked low enough that the team might not ber better with him in there.

When I watched them against St. Johns, I sat there as M's names were called, and all I could say was "who?"

I know absolutely nothing about these guys other than they wear M uniforms. But congrats to them for being 3-0.

Dickinson was great last night against Kentucky. 27 points and 21 rebounds. The fans in Chicago booed him for the first three-quarters of the game. Kansas looked a lot like UM did last year. They got out to a lead and then the other players started to chuck up threes and Kentucky eventually had about a 10-point lead. Second half, Self benched players who didn't feed the post, and Kansas went on to win.

For anyone that was paying attention, .. Coach Howard was involved in a situation where he apparently had some sort of confrontational situation with Michigan's S&C coach for the basketball team. First rumors were that it was some sort of shoving match, and that Howard's job was on the line.

Today, Warde Manuel issued a statement saying that an internal review found that Howard did not get physical with the S&C coach, or anyone else for that matter. Howard has been cleared to resume his duties as HC when his doctors say its okay for him to return. No further action will be taken.

It was probably an argument, that some observers made a big deal of.
